This portfolio of 13 helicopter stencil prints was handpainted in two colors on paper. Helicopters are flexible air vehicles. They land and start vertically or hover for a longer period above the same location. Helicopters are practical for transportation, construction, firefighting, rescue missions, medical urgencies, tourism, law enforcement, agriculture, news and media and military uses. Depending on the operating mode, distance and the echo of the environment helicopter rotors make a lot of different rhythms and sounds.

Tail rotor noise is significant relatively close to the helicopter, where the higher-frequency noise of the tail rotor has not yet been attenuated by the atmosphere.
